New client search site launches

Published: May 5, 2008

Just in time for lawyers hit by the slowing economy, a new website has launched allowing attorneys to search for clients.

SueEasy.com (www.sueeasy.com) allows potential plaintiffs to visit the site and register their claims under one of nine main categories, such as "Accidents and Injuries," "Employment Law" and "Bankruptcy."

The categories also have more specific sub-categories, where users fill out a detailed form and provide as much information as they want to give about their grievance. Users have the option to upload any pertinent documents.
Lawyers who pay for a subscription to the website can then search in real time for potential clients.

Sahil Kazi, the managing director and co-founder of SueEasy, said the site has already signed up "quite a few" lawyers.

"We have been receiving a huge amount of potential cases," he added.
